JuneRabbit grass was a silver blanket, encircling our shoulders pressed together  
Which, changed by the cricket summer, the rattlesnake moon  Turned red brown with dust.  The condor feather,  And the kite, the hawk are not lifted by the stale heat of June.  Not uplifted, not by any thing.  The spirits that inhabit  The cracks in the red clay dried to skin  Are sleeping, the turquoise sky is masked in soot.  Sing for the rain.  O where have you been?  I have not heard the pipes playing to the crabapple mountains  To the chasms and the stripes in the stones.  Now in th June

The Red HouseI held you there, your chin resting on me tattered hands,  Feeling none of mist cold morning in the pines  Who, like me, had been crying,  
Shedding golden tears in slow jewel drops.   
The world was weeping but I could not remember,  
Staring into your eye sockets that I swear could see me back  I could not remember  Why  
Were you slipping through my fingers silvered and anonymous as mercury on a dewed  leaf  It began to rain  I stood there in the silver rain  And the red clay mud that smattered over my shoes and pant legs  And the dust that was quenched and beaten b The Red House

NisusFingers blushed in blue  The light, misted over beneath the old, old trees  The birch trees and their leprosy,  
Their hands, bones grasping bones, spider fingers as vines,  Twined the one in the other,  
On the faded fallen leaves they laid while the  
Drowsy moon cast snakeskin shadows on the floor.  "O my beloved," whispers a ghost or tree, blind and groping.   
There had been the glory and the honor,  Abundant skies,  And to never be alone.  Then came the briefest yearning, the warm glow of gold in a setting sun  And the promise of perpetual name.  "O my beloved," calls Nisus

Mostly these things are only for appearances since I never keep mine up
But I figured it would be nice to have something fairly new up for the people who every so often stumble across my page

Really I'm nobody in particular, or so I hope to one day feel
I'm a bit proud still, but I'm trying and I'm sorry and I never mean to hurt you
I love the truth, and yes I believe in it
As much as we might love them or hate them, I'd have to say that they are real
Even if I want to ignore them
So thank you for stopping by to see me in my corner of the world
I hope (maybe falsely) that my work has given you something that you did not have before.
